Sweet Jam is an original rock band out of Santa Cruz, California. Their music is often described as "Heart Rock". With original, positive lyrics layered over rock, jazzy and dreamy chord changes, Sweet Jam strives to bring a message of hope and peace to our often chaotic and violent world.
Sweet Jam is made up of Mark McFadden on electric and acoustic guitars and vocals, Catherine Lewis on lead vocals and recorders, Art Pitts on bass and vocals, and Keith Graves on drums. The band is also often accompanied on stage and in the recording studio with Glenn MacPherson on lead electric guitar, as well as Jim Greiner on percussion.
In addition to their original songs, Sweet Jam performs many cover songs from various artists such as: The Beatles, Van Morrison, The Eagles, Blind Faith, Bonnie Raitt, Norah Jones, It's A Beautiful Day, Alison Kraus, Janis Joplin and more! Sweet Jam is available for booking and loves performing for non-profits, festivals, wineries, weddings, farmers' markets, private parties and corporate events throughout the California Bay area -- and beyond!
