 Happy 5th Birthday to the Tannery Arts Center!
This Summer Solstice, the Tannery community kicks the doors open to their homes and studios with a daylong event of exhibitions, performances, dance workshops, and art demonstrations. Sweet Jam playing an acoustic set inside the ArtBar at the Tannery Arts Center for their First Friday event featuring: Catherine Lewis - vocals/recorders; Mark McFadden - guitar/vocals; and Art Pitts - bass/vocals. Sweet Jam had a great recording session the other night at LEROX Studio in Santa Cruz. We recorded our version of Scott MacKenzie's iconic and beautiful song, "San Francisco", for our soon-to-be released new cd, "Familiar Faces". We performed this song at the Monterey 45 Years Later Festival at the Monterey County Fairgrounds last year. Sweet Jammers include: Catherine Lewis - vocals/recorder, Art Pitts - vocals/bass, Keith Graves - drums (and recording engineer), Mark McFadden - guitar/back-up vocals, as well as Glenn MacPherson - lead guitar.
